We shared the spoils at FNB Stadium tonight with a dramatic last minute header from Mutizwa.

The hosts had a clear chance to score in the third minute, Gumede had been beaten, but Dlamini cleared the ball off the line to deny Ekstein from scoring. This set the scene for the half, with both teams using the ball well and getting to the last 3rd, but failing to finish. We had a great opportunity to break the deadlock in the 31st minute with Magubane playing up and coming in from the left side of the box. The youngster tried to finish the play himself where he had Mahachi and Lamola open in the box, and wasted the opportunity to take the lead in the first half.

After the break, Chiefs dominated play but battled to finish, with Gumede doing well to protect the goal. The defence was holding well and Chiefs opted to try shots from range, but these efforts were off their mark.

Moon, who was on the field as a substitute, opened the scoring in the 77th minute, breaking the defence, receiving the ball and making a turn and shot, beating Gumede.

We remained determined, and this paid off in extra time as Mutizwa blasted throught the Chiefs last line of defence and banged a brilliant header.

We return to Durban as we prepare for Baroka FC next weekend at 15h00 at Princess Magogo Stadium.
