U19 FINISH OFF THEIR 2009/2010 SEASON 25.01.2010 On Sunday 24 January 2010 Golden Arrows were suppose to play their last game of last season against Morningside Capital, in what would be a decider on how they would finish their League. Morningside Capital did not pitch up for the game, which means that Arrows automatically get 3 points. This brings the U19's league to an end, putting arrows in positon 5 . Unfortunately Arrows didnt qualify for the play offs this season because only the top 4 qualify for play offs. But now Arrows U19 coached Nhlanhla Mshibe and Lolo Hlubi can focus on their upcoming season 2010, their league restarts in April 2010.
On the 9th and 10th of January 2010 Arrows hosted trials for the U19. On day 1 over 500 boys turned up, from the 500 they were cut down to 200. The 200 that were selected were asked to return on the 2nd day so the coaches could have a closer look at them. final decision was made on the last day and 30 were selected, now those 30 boys that were selected will be given a chance to train with the current U19 team, and before the season starts in April the final squad will be picked. The U19's train Monday - Friday 15h30 - 17h30 and play friendly games on Sundays.
