Junior Sthende’s Qualify for Cup Finals 29.08.2011 On Saturday 27th August the Arrows U15A, U15B, U17A and U17B Teams all played in Semi Final games in the ?? tournament. We are proud to announce each team won their respective games, meaning each team has qualified for the finals!
Each of the age groups have fared very well in this tournament, showing amazing potential across our development age-groups and producing fantastic results!
The results of each age group in the tournament is as follows;
U15A 1st Round: Arrows vs. Coronation 3-0 win Quarter Finals: Arrows vs. Morningside United 3-0 win Semi-Final: Arrows vs. Newlands FC 2-0 win
U15B 1st Round: Walkover Quarter Finals: Arrows vs. Stella 1-0 win Semi-Final: Arrows vs. Greyville 4-0 win U17A 1st Round: Arrows vs. Sport-For-All 4-0 win Quarter Finals: Arrows vs. Hillgrove 3-1 win Semi-Final: Arrows vs. Sando FC 1-0 win. This was an action packed game with Arrows scoring in the last 2 minutes of extra time!
U17B 1st Round: Walkover Quarter Finals: Arrows vs. PJ Stars 3-1. The game ended at 1-1 in full-time. It went straight into penalties, with Arrows finishing victorious on 3-1! Semi-Final: Arrows vs. Pitlochiry 2-1 win
Due to all of these amazing result, we now qualify for the finals, scheduled to be played on the 25th September 2011.08.29
