TOM GETS HIS 100TH CAP 16.12.2011 29 year old Left Back Mzivukile Tom born 17 April 1982, started his career at OR Tambo where he was spotted by the late Rocky Madlala, and is now a regular for the Golden Arrows team.
Having made his debut fro Arrows in December 2007 against Ajax Cape Town (1-1 draw), it is quite fitting that his 100th appearance for the club will again be against Ajax.
Tom will earn his 100th cap for the club in tomorrows home game when Abafana Besthende take on Ajax Cape Town at 18:00 at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
Mzivukile is one of our most valued senior players and his statistics are homage to a player who has dedicated his career to the club.
In his 1st season 2007/2008 he made 4 League Appearances. In 2008/2009 season he made 24 appearances (starting 20 league games, coming on as a substitute once in the league, and played in 3cup games)
In 2009/2010 season he made 31 appearances (starting 25 games, coming on as a substitute in 1 league game and starting in 5 cup games and scored a league goal as well as 1 goal in the MTN 8)
In 2010/2011 season he made 24 appearances (starting 21 league games, coming on as a substitute in one league game, starting in 2 cup games and scoring 2 goals in the league.
