Arrows Reserve knocked out of Bayhill Premier Cup 10.04.2012
The Reserves were knocked out of the cup on Saturday 7th April after playing Orlando Pirates in the last 16.

They went down 2 nil to the Buccaneers in a game that saw Pirates capitalising on errors made by Golden Arrows on two occasions and securing the win for them.

The first half saw 2goals scored by Pirates, and a missed penalty attempt by Arrows, that if scored, could have changed the outcome of the game entirely and brought Arrows back into the game.

The second half saw a formidable difference in the Arrows team and they put pressure on Pirates and kept them on the back foot. However, their dominance in play in the second half did not see the ball in the back of the net for them.


Head of development coach Mandla Ncikazi feels that considering the circumstances, the tournament was a well learned lesson for the team in going forward. He says the team played well and he was very proud of them,
