Arrows Reserve knocked out of Bayhill Premier Cup 10.04.2012 The Reserves were knocked out of the cup on Saturday 7th April after
playingOrlando Pirates in the last
16.
They went down 2 nil to the Buccaneers in a
game that saw Piratescapitalising on errors made by Golden
Arrows on two occasions and securingthe win for
them.
The first half saw 2goals scored by
Pirates, and a missed penalty attempt byArrows, that if scored,
could have changed the outcome of the game entirelyand brought
Arrows back into the game.
The second half saw
a formidable difference in the Arrows team and they putpressure
on Pirates and kept them on the back foot. However, their dominancein play in the second half did not see the ball in the
back of the netfor them.
Head of development coach
Mandla Ncikazi feels that considering thecircumstances, the
tournament was a well learned lesson for the team ingoing
