Lamontville Golden Arrows are proud to announce that Nkosingiphile Gumede has been selected to play for the National U20 Team taking part in the
U20 African Youth Championship qualifiers.
The African Youth Championship is the main international youth football competition for CAF nations, and is competed for by under 20 year olds. It is held every two years with the top 4 teams qualifying for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Since 1991 there has been a qualifying stage followed by a final tournament played by 8 teams in a chosen country.
The U20 National side will be playing a game against the Republic of Congo on the 28th July.
Lamontville Golden Arrows would like to congratulate Gumede on his selection and wish him well in his appearances for the team.
