Lamontville Golden Arrows have gained another 3 points in the Multichoice Diski competition after beating Bloemfontein Celtic this morning at Siwelele Park.

The game was a stalemate in the first 45 minutes, with both teams playing a hard defensive game and not showing any signs of letting each other score. They went into the break with no score on the board.

After returning to the field, it was Mahlasela who opened the scoring for the game, taking Bloemfontein Celtic a goal up in the 68th minute. The Diski ‘Stende’s however were not going to take it lying down and fought back right away with an equalizer from debutant Lucky Sithole.

Thirty seconds later, they had another opportunity from a penalty kick and Captain Sibusiso Sibeko made sure to take the side up to a 2-1 lead over the home team.

They managed to hold off Bloem Celtic for the remainder of the game to claim another victory in their Multichoice Diski challenge.
