The Diski side have been a thorn in Bidvest Wits side today as they managed to play to a draw in the MDC fixture this afternoon.

After a brief period of play when the teams settled, the action seemed to kick in and both the Clever Boys and Abafana Bes’thende used possession and position well to create opportunities to score.

In the 23rd minute,Wits had a break through as Boshego scored with a smashing volley just before the water break to give them the lead.

The remainder of the half continued to be a battle for each side in the last 3rd, with neither side managing to find the back of the net.

This play continued into the second half. It was an epic battle and in the 69th minute, a header from Andile ‘Carrot’ Fikizolo off a brilliant cross from S.Dube saw the team get the equaliser.

This was to be the last goal of the game. Both sides continued with the end to end battle, and each had some promising shots, but neither could finish to find that game winning goal.

The side will face Kaizer Chief in the next encounter on the 05th Feb at Dobsonville Stadium.
