Our u17 team remain unbeaten in their league after the Derby game with Amazulu yesterday at Rovers. In what promised to be an exciting day of soccer, they never disappointed as they fought hard for a win over our Durban based rivals at the Rover grounds. Both teams came onto the field determined to walk away with the win but in the end it was a 0 -0 score that determined the game.

This was a true reflection of the fight put up by both sides in the game. Both sides created opportunity to score but the goal keeping was the winner for the day, ensuring that the nets were well protected which resulted in no goals being scored. Well done on the result boys.

The u15 side make a remarkable come back to their results earlier in the year as they beat Amazulu 1-0 through a first half goal in the game prior to the u17s. The hard work and determination payed off for the youngsters and again, some brilliant goal keeping denied Amazulu a number of opportunities to pull a draw.

We are proud of the results from both of the sides over the weekend and comment them and the coaching staff of both teams on the efforts and results.
