Abafana Bes’thende have lost their game in Cape Town at Athlone Stadium against the Urban Warriors tonight.
In a game that could have gone either way, it was eventually Ajax who scored in the 85th minute from the penalty spot after a hand ball in the box from S.Dube. Until this though it was a well matched even game between the two sides. Each of the teams made great use of their ball, creating opportunities but just not able to finish off and find the back of the net.
Coach Larsen and his technical team will be working hard in the next week and a half to prepare for the home game against Bidvest Wits where we will want to retain maximum points and keep in the top half of the log.
