SIYANDA ZWANE | ASSISTANT COACH

Siyanda Zwane, born on 4 June 1985 in Sobantu, Pietermaritzburg, began his football journey with Maritzburg City’s youth academy before making his professional debut for Lamontville Golden Arrows in 2005. He quickly established himself as a reliable defender, spending nearly a decade at Arrows and contributing to their MTN 8 Cup victory in 2009–10. During this period, he also had a loan spell at Nathi Lions (2006–07). His consistent performances earned him a move to Mamelodi Sundowns in 2014, where he enjoyed his most successful years, winning two Premier Division titles (2015–16, 2017–18) and the prestigious CAF Champions League in 2016, which led to participation in the FIFA Club World Cup. Zwane also represented South Africa at international level, earning three caps since his debut in 2011.

Known for his defensive reliability and leadership qualities, he has now taken the next step in his football journey by returning to his roots at Lamontville Golden Arrows, this time as an assistant coach. His appointment brings valuable experience and mentorship to the squad, strengthening the club’s technical team while continuing his long-standing connection with Arrows.
