Siya has always been an avid footballer and his playing career included stints with Durban Stars, TUKS, Thanda Royal Zulu and Lamontville Golden Arrows. His playing career saw him play to runner up position in the Nedbank Cup, 2009 COSAFA Cup winner as well as being part of the TUKS squad who gained promotion in 2011-12 by winning the Glad Africa Championship.
His experience as a goalkeeper as well as his ability to relate with the young players has seen him grow in a coaching position. He joined us from Durban Pioneers where he coached from 2019 to 2022
