Knox Mutizwa scored the winning goal in the 89th minute for us tonight as we faced AmaZulu in a derby game at Jonsson Kings Park tonight.

In a game that started off well for both sides, keeping the ball fluid and looking to create chances, it soon became a stalemate of a half with neither side managing to find the back of the net.

We seemed to have the upper hand when it came to possession and had showed hunger but were denied taking a first half lead by an offside position.

Usuthu upped the tempo with minutes left in the half, but were unable to score before the break.

They continued the tempo of play in the first 5 minutes of the second half. Mlungwana denied Maduna and play settled once again after this.

We received a penalty in the 68th minute after Lamola was brought down in the box.

The equaliser came from Sithebe in the 80th minute after AmaZulu kept pressure on us in the final third.

It looked to be a draw at this stage, but a play wide from S.Dube, crossed to the box, then layed back by Mtshali to Mutizwa payed off with the Knox-Man striking the ball well to the far corner of the goal and securing the win.

Our next game will be against Highlands Park, at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on February 29th.
