A goal from Knox Mutizwa secured a draw for us in today’s DSTv Premiership after being a goal down at the break.

While we were looking to secure a home win before heading off to three away games for the remainder of the month, this was not to be the case in an exciting and well played encounter with Siwelele.

The first half saw us create chances but not capitalise on them and we paid the price in the 34th minute as Mahashe slipped the ball in behind Mlungwana off a well weighted corner kick.

While we fought to equalise before the break, we were just unable to direct the final touches on target to get the break through. In the last minute of the half Mutizwa was unlucky to have a header attempt find the cross bar.

Coming back onto the field, the team looked a bit more motivated and composed than in the first half.Once again, we did well to get behind the defence but yet again, just lacked the finishing to make it count.

Celtic fought hard to extend their lead and had a number of opportunities themselves. Neither team seemed to have luck on their side today.

The determination paid off in the 72nd minute for us when Mutizwa headed in a ball that had come off the cross bar.

Shared spoils and not the full 3 points we wanted however we will need to consolidate and prepare as we head on the road and play SuperSport United on the 21st at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
