Jacob Mokhasi brings a wealth of experience to Golden Arrows as the club’s First Team Goalkeeper Coach, following an accomplished career both on and off the pitch. A former professional goalkeeper, Mokhasi represented several top clubs in South Africa and abroad, including Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United, Moroka Swallows, Black Leopards and Ethiopia’s Dedebit FC. He also earned international recognition with South Africa’s Under-23 side and received six senior Bafana Bafana caps, building a reputation for leadership, professionalism and excellence throughout his playing career.
Since transitioning into coaching, Mokhasi has developed a strong reputation for nurturing modern goalkeepers through disciplined, high-intensity training and individual development. His coaching journey has included spells at SuperSport United and Marumo Gallants before joining Golden Arrows, where he focuses on producing technically sound, mentally resilient and tactically intelligent goalkeepers capable of performing at the highest level. His extensive playing experience, combined with his passion for player development and high-performance standards, makes him a valuable member of the club’s technical team.
